EBONYI STATE MINISTRY OF MINISTRY OF INFRASTRUCTURAL DEVELOPMENT FOR CONCESSION
INVITATION TO PREQUALIFY CONSULTANTS FOR THE DESIGN AND PRODUCTION OF BIDDING DOCUMENTS OF 13 LOTS OF THE PROPOSED 254-KILOMETER ROAD IN THE 140 AUTONOMOUS COMMUNITIES OF THE STATE
CLIENT: MINISTRY OF INFRASTRUCTURAL DEVELOPMENT FOR CONCESSION: CENTENARY CITY, ABAKALIKI, EBONYI STATE.
(1) The Ebonyi State Government through the Ministry of Infrastructural Development for Concession is to undertake the Design and construction of the roads referred above in 13 lots thus;
Lot 1: 14km Roads; Abakaliki LGA
Lot 2: 2km Roads; Afikpo North LGA
Lot 3: 22km Roads; Ebonyi LGA
Lot 4: 24km Road; Edda LGA
Lot 5: 28km Road; Ezza North LGA
Lot 6: 20km Road; Ezza South LGA
Lot 7: 30km Road; Ikwo LGA
Lot 8: 28km Road; Ishielu LGA
Lot 9: 10km Road; Ivo LGA
Lot 10: 16km Road; Izzi LGA
Lot 11: 16km Road; Ohaozara LGA
Lot 12: 30km Road; Ohaukwu LGA
Lot 13: 14km Road; Onicha LGA
(2) Scope of Work
The scope of works essentially involves Road Survey, design and preparation of detailed drawings for the road, drainage, culverts and bridges (if any).
(3) Tenders are hereby invited from reputable consultants who must have registered with CAC and Ebonyi State Ministry of Works category (D) current at the time of tender. Furthermore, applicants shall meet the following prequalification criteria:
(i) A substantial evidence of carrying out such work for the last three to five years
(ii) Provide evidence of tax clearance
(iii) Evidence that the contractor has equipment and personnel to execute such road design work.
(4) Prequalification documents from interested consultants must be submitted through the Ebonyi State E-Procurement System. Tenders must be submitted not later than 14 days from the date of this advertisement (i.e; 1:00pm on 12 September, 2023 is the submission deadline).
(5) Only the prequalified consultants shall be invited to submit financial bids for the road survey and design as designated and shall make a non-refundable payment of fifty thousand naira (N50,000) only per Lot in accounts department of the state Ministry of Infrastructural Development for Concession.
